In spite of being totally blinded and suffering multiple injuries when he was hit by two RPGs during a fire-fight in Basra, Iraq, nothing can keep this ex-Duke of Lancaster’s and Liverpool lad down. Apart from setting up 2 highly successful businesses since being medically discharged, he has: cycled 350 miles across France; climbed Kilimanjaro; attempted Mt McKinley in Alaska; played blind football for England in the Euro and World Cup Championships and even starred in a Ken Loach film. He was the face of the Poppy Appeal in 2007 and has been an inspiration to thousands of wounded servicemen and women.
